Keeping our community healthy

To Our Dear Customers,

You’ve likely received multiple emails regarding COVID-19. We hope you are keeping up with the latest public health recommendations and we want you to know that we are too. We plan to keep the shop open regular hours at this time, and we are cleaning and sanitizing common surfaces daily. Our staff has been vigilant about hand washing and sanitizing and no one has shown any signs of illness.

Going forward we are implementing the following measures to keep ourselves and our customers as healthy and safe as possible.

– We are offering a free delivery service to our on Coast customers. Orders can be placed over the phone or by email, and payment can be made by cheque upon delivery, credit card over the phone, or e-transfer. We cannot guarantee immediate or same day delivery, as this is out of the ordinary for us, we will need to prioritize based on our availability, distance and number of deliveries. We want to do our best to help those who cannot leave their home, but we also have to be practical about it. Please don’t hesitate to call if you have any questions.

– We are postponing our regular Thursday Stitch’n’Bitch until further notice.

– We have decided to postpone the Needle Felted Chick class that was supposed to run this Saturday and we will wait a little longer to make decisions about the other upcoming classes.  There is so much uncertainty surrounding the spread of COVID-19 and we feel it is better to over prepare than under prepare.  If anyone is signed up for a class with us and has already paid and wishes to withdraw at this time they will be given a full refund for their class fees and any purchased supplies.

– All toys have been removed from the children’s play area until further notice.

We want to thank you so much for your understanding and for doing all you can to keep our community healthy.

Jenny, Alton, Lisa, Sue and Jan
